I think that however is the least of my worries. I was so upset over the hose breaking, I forgot to mention the tractor makes a terrible noise in gear, until you let out the clutch. And between gear changes and when putting it into reverse. So it must have to do with the clutch. The delivery guy sad, I was pushing the clutch in to far on a old ford like this. sounds fishy to me.

And they told me they used it around the place, but thats doubtful with this noise, and then the deliver guy said that noise will stop after its been used awhile since it was sitting. So someone is handing me a line of bull.

My GMC truck does that, 3 speed manual, and its the thro out bearing, stops once its warms us, and is driven. But does it next time its cold, so that indicates to me and constant problem needing fixing.
The tractor makes the noice while warm or not though. Anytime you in between gears, and it seems like you don't take off right away, it starts the noice like NOT grinding, but a I want to say straining or in a bind.

Again with the hydolics, I see 3 places to plug in a impliment, but the only return in used by the bucket. So scratching my head, where do the return lines go for the open two hyd ports. I hope my owner operator manual arrives soon. I got on Ebay.

Also, it is leaking at two connections. Even buying used equipment, it seems it shouldn't be leaking when they install it on your used tractor.

Im curious where you bought it, my dad lives in Troy and has had issues with Mordt Equipment, with them not standing behind their sales

It wasn't local, and I don't want to mention there names, because they have not done me wrong, just have not done anything right yet to stand by the sale. They did tell me this, told me that, another guy contridicts one thing. The salesmen said they used it around the dealership, so he knew it was in good working order. The delivery guy said it had been sitting and the grinding noice when the clutch was in with it in gear would go away once the tractor got some service to it again. (yeah right)
But I don't want to hurt there reputation by mentioning there name at this time. because at this time, I do not feel screwed just put off until they can get back to me on the issues.
But about Mordt tractor in Troy, they have giving me the run around several time, when dealing with a salesman, thats why I did not buy it there, but looks like I will have to use them to get the hydaulic hose. I read hear Napa makes hoses, also there are two other tractor dealers in Troy or near.
I have gotten good service with my mowing equipement with the sevice dept in the troy mordt tractor dealer. them guys seem like they are on the up and up and knowledgeable too.

Are you sure that the male and female fittings are the same type???. I had a problem wit a male and female quick coupler on some equipment. they fit together and locked, but leaked. When i replaced the male end to match same number series as female end....no leaks. there are charts that list compatibility lists for quick connects

used is used.. you want leak free.. pay for it. IE.. buy new connectors or orings ( likely all it is on a qd ).. or buy new equipment.

as for the clutch noise.. and pushing it in too far.

tat's 100% bogus.

i'd be looking at throwout bearing if it groans when foot is on clutch.. but no groan when otherwise running.
