That's good advice, Tractors4U. My feedback is 100% positive, and I would hesitate to give negative feedback only because of the tit-for-tat potential, even though I paid for the merchandise within hours of the auction's close.
But honestly, I think I'm done with ebay forever. The seller has still not shipped the keyboard, though I've been relentless with emails. He's responded twice, saying "Sorry, I'll get to it." It's been over 20 days now, my guess is he ain't gonna get to it.
In the meantime, I bid on another one... this time from a major ebay marketer with over 10,000 feedbacks. I figured I couldn't go wrong. But I figured wrong. The keyboard arrived, and was in perfect condition. The problem was that it was incorrectly listed- it was a keyboard for a much newer PDA, and incompatible with mine. They have an RMA program, your money back if returned within 7 days. The catch is that you ship it back at your expense. So it cost me 5 bucks to get absolutely nothing.
I'm done. I could have purchased one used through Amazon for what I have invested on Ebay, and at least have something to show for it. I've had good luck in the past, but the potential to get hung out to dry is growing it seems. This hasn't added up to alot of $$$ for me so far, but I could just as easily be having the same problems with a much more expensive purchase.
