Grab hooks

I usually take one chain and hook the grab hook back on that chain, making a small loop, then hook the grab hook of the other chain to the center of this loop. It keeps the other hook from catching on things.

Clever idea. Could have used that yesterday.

Zebra - that seems like the "go to" idea..... simple and seems like it would have less chance of coming apart when slack in the chain. It's gonna be my new technique.

As already stated, Hook to Chain always with "grab" style hooks, with slip hooks you can get away with Hook to Hook.

Also, you might want to check out the new style "Twist-Lock" grab hooks we sell, guaranteed not to come apart!

I saw these on the web and I like them. It's just that Ihave all my chains "hooked up". It seems the pin/spring/securing-device would be able to be added to old hooks, just replacing the pin.
