might be the comparison lawn king - my b3030 seems not to use fuel, almost. The m59 does. Can't necessarily say it drinks fast - maybe its normal, but compared to how little fuel the b3030 uses...
Im with ya. The B3030's dont use fuel nearly as fgast as the larger ones do. My friends L5030 seems to have a LARGE hole in the fuel tank. The fuel gauge seems to have a "sweep second" hand on it in comparison.

Agreed, having owned a 3030 i can say first hand they are very good on fuel. These big L's burn right through it.

As you probably know I traded my B3030 Cab for the L-5240 Cab.
The difference between the 2 machines is Night And Day!
Fuel used is about 30% more,
But the difference is 100%.
If your budget can handle it.
Go for the Grand Series.

You are right about the fuel, not sure that my timing was great with the cost of diesel. I told my salesman that my old DT185 would use 6gal of fuel in six months, the L3010 would use six gal. in six days and the new L5240 will use it in six hours ! But when you get in that cab and fire up that little turbo you just gotta love it !

Hey lawn_king & Double Orange, is the cab in the grand L much quieter than the B3030 cab? The B3030 cab isn't quite as quiet as I expected, but don't worry I'm not complaining, just curious.

Yes, In my L5240 Cab I can hear my cell phone ring. And I'm 1/2 deaf.
I've made numerous call from my Cab and when I told the other party I was in my tractor I got the old No-way response.

The 3030 cab is the best you will find in that size tractor, no doubt about it. The grand l cabs are much nicer, kinda like impala to caddy, both are nice! Many a snowstorm those factory cabs saved me!

I have been fertilizing athletic fields this week. I just cant believe how quiet this cab is! I load up the sitrex rear pto spreader, adjust the drop gates, set my cruise control to a ground speed of 4 mph and im off. I sit back, listen to imus while i sip my hot coffee in my cold cab, life is grand! I do have to go out in the heat to refill the spreader though, its rough out there! :D

How is old Imus???

Is he managing to stay outta' trouble??

I used to enjoy him on MSNBC.
