That is INSANE and I never would have believed that if I had not seen it.

And what about Canon? That Lincoln had a hood a mile long. And a PHONE of all things!!!!

Just noticed the LAX terminal in the background.

Bog man requires big car, a VW wouldn't quite work. First TV show with car phone I think was Andy Griffith.....

One feature on newer vehicles I hate but am probably in a very small minority, is the dome light which shuts itself off after a period of time. I turn it on because I want it on; and off because I want it off. That's a very simple process which people have been doing ever since the light switch was invented. Yet I'll be doing something in the truck and the light shuts off. If I then forget to turn the switch off, I look out as I'm getting ready for bed and the darned light is on again. The worst part is that the relay seems to use as much if not more juice than the light...so what are they saving?
3:00 AM in a motel room, I got up to use the bathroom and looked out to see that the dome light was on. My first thought was that somebody had broken into my truck...

The "Chief" of the Daily Planet, in the original Superman Series had a car phone. AKA VHF Radio Telephone.

Yep. I saw it a few years ago. I used to believe the big car on frame was the safest thing on the road. Turns out much different. Sometimes seeing is believing. Converted me.

Once had a customer whos daughter was in a crash in an old vehicle like that. Missing arm, leg and eye. Not a crash friendly environment. All those metal knobs poking out of the dash! And to think we used to play or sleep up on the rear window deck.

Leave it to MossRoad to come up with that video.
It was still a waste of a good BelAir though.
