Markham never did seem to understand that most tractor owners used Pioneer style rather than skidsteer flat qc fittings. Maybe Gator will get that figured out.

They understood it perfectly when I dealt with them.

Good to hear. However if you look at posts here regarding Markham grapple screw ups that was a common theme. It reflects the simple fact that Markham (and Gator) focus primarily on the large commercial skidsteer market while TBN members are generally novice CUT owners unaware of the standard nomenclature or details of hydraulics etc. Skidsteers use flat fittings so it is natural for Markham to consider those standard. CUTs generally use Pioneer style fittings though few of us knew that when we took delivery. Easy in that setting for mix ups to occur despite good intentions all around.

That is why I got mine WITHOUT hoses and QD's. That way I could get exact length hoses and the proper QD's.

That works but it would probably be less expensive to get those as part of the grapple package. It might be even less though if you know enough to order from Surplus Supply. Still I wouldn't recommend that unless terms like JIC and NPT are second nature.

I used the grapple extensively this weekend. I am still working on my technique but I now know why these things are so popular! What I got done was amazing! Again thank you to all who helped me out with this. Gator made everything right on my end so I have nothing to complain about.
One note about the wr long valve (which works great with the grapple) is that mine came with hydraulic connectors one size smaller than those that came with the grapple- so when ordering one or the other you probably want to check that out first.
Figure I would include some pictures...
