I bet the visibility is limited. You could probably see better if it was on a skid steer. . . .

Absolutely. These things were made for skid steers where you're sitting right on top of the action with the bucket right there in front of you and you can see what you're doing.

Or compact telehandlers, where the seat is low and off to the side.

Here is the view from the seat, looking under it.

I can also put it on the ground and see the teeth when looking over the top.

Popped it out after breaking some roots.

Sure works good on cedar trees. :D

Thanks for the Review Pappy. Does not sound like it would fit my needs, but if I had the budget for several grapples, I could find a home for it ;-)

Xfaxman- That makes short work of it! That is an impressive machine.

Thanks for the explanations guys.

I love grabbing loads of brush that block my view. Makes my back feel great.

With light brush like you have loaded you can raise the FEL and see where you are driving by looking underneath. Don't try that with heavy loads or on slopes though.

I always travel in reverse with loads like that, it solves two problems, being able to see where you are going and dropping stuff and running over it.

Yup, that works too. A tad awkward to be twisted around for very long but it works.
