Does anyone know of a bagger system that will fit a B2920 with the RCK54 mmm? Nothing listed on Kubota site except for BX

I have a b7500 with the RCK60-24b mower deck the grass catcher I use with it is the GC60B. I think that should work with your setup. There is a 2nd gearbox that is mounted over the right hand blade pulley and a driveshaft from there drives the mower deck mounted blower. The chute from there goes to the rear mounted bagger. The bagger mounts to a bracket that bolts around the tractor rear pto housing and the top link mount. The bagger doesn't raise and lower with the 3pth.

Kubota does make a grass bagging system for the new B2x20 series. I saw one mounted up to a B2620 at my dealer's open house this spring. It is a VERY rugged three bag system that is powered by the PTO. I was disappointed because it looks like a major undertaking to do the initial install, and a couple of the brackets look like they would interfere with 3pt hitch use with the bags, etc. off. The brackets are 3/8" steel, and look darn near rugged enough to support a backhoe! ( I sure hope 10 bushels of grass don't strain it too much) It upsets me that manufacturers of these machines just don't understand that we want to be able to easily install a collector, and then take it off to do other things.
The part number for the bagger is: GCK60-76BA

The Gc60 grass catcher I have does require some work to install and remove, I've tried to modify the tractor to make for easier installation and removal . The grass catcher has smaller 3pth arms to install because the original arms would lift into the bags. I added a clevis to the turnbuckles to allow no tool removal of the lower arms. I welded some 2" square tube to the bagger lower support bracket so that instead of bolting to the pto housing and interfering with the rear pto shaft it slides onto the draw bar and is clamped there by a 3/4 bolt. I can remove the bagger system much quicker now, and I don't have the bracket to deal with when using the rear pto. I assume that the draw bar and the upper 3pth mount ( heavy duty one) is capable of supporting the bagger weight. I think I would like to make something that self dumps for it though more like this: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...al-collection-sys-john-527777-cart-dump-2.jpg

I have the setup you show, but I really can't use it because I have a BX.

I saw the setup for sale locally used, with a (rather rough) deck, two bag housings, two blowers, and two gearboxes, and the price was so low, I thought it would be valuable for things like the deck belt, and the deck pulleys, and the deck gearbox. I think I am going to put it up for sale, and if it doesn't sale, carve and weld into it to see if I can make it fit the BX.

The reason the fellow sold it was the pto that drives the deck messed up at the transmission, and the fellow found a way to seal it up, but cannot use the front PTO any longer.

Thanks for the info, I wanted to use the system for mulching and picking up my leaves. Looks like I may be better off with one of those tow-behind units for my lawn tractor.

That is basically what I use the bagger system for, cleaning up leaves in the fall and the grass clippings when the grass got too long. It did a really good job picking up the leaves and never plugged up on me. It was a bit of a pain dumping the bags, I did 15 trips for a total of 45 bags I dumped. Its still far easier to dump the bags than to rake and use a wheelbarrow. I'd buy it again, my concern with the cart type is the length of the equipment and storage. Oh and I got a killer deal on the unit.

I have the kubota bagger system on my b2920 and find it as a after tought from kubota, iI had the rear bagger on my old bx 25 and found it to be great and thats why I bought it for my b2920 but what a pain to mount, like others have said the bracket that mounts on the drawbar also is bolted to the trans housing well I modified this today and cut the tabs off the bracket were it mounts to trans ,the drawbar bolts i think are strong and should have no problem suporting the bagger, like others have said the bagger bracket must come off to use 3point hitch,

bumping an old thread here...does anyone have pics to post of how they have successfully modified a kubota collection system to go easy on/off like a regular 3PH attachment?
