Condenser shot or corroded connection.
I cleaned it up a bit with some sandpaper. How do I go about finding out what Kubota motor I have to get a replacement? Everything I see and Google doesn’t come up with a Kubota motor. Then the little 'do not remove' black box is shot and so is the rotor. Looks terrible, probably the cap is shot as well. Time to buy a replacement kit.
Thanks.Call your local Kubota dealer and give him the engine serial number. He can get what you need. I would never buy any ignition related parts from Amascon simply because the quality won't be good.
The engine number is usually stamped on the head on the right or left hand side towards the front, below the valve cover. It begs for a bath as well, thing is filthy.
