Good morning! I am a recently registered user, and am having a small problem with my 3ph. Jinma 254, by the way. It will lift under no load, but if I stand on an arm, it wont lift me. Once lifted, it will hold weight. I took apart the valve, and replaced an o-ring that was leaking, but no fix. I also adjusted the safety valve, no change...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Somethin must be leaking in the valve or where the valve connects to the cylinder. my guess is the leak is only when the valve is in the lift position. when you put it to the "hold" or central position, it seals so the cylinder will hold weight. this would almost have to indicate a problem with the valve itself as it is the place wwere all this happens. this is assuming you do not have position and/or draft control but the momentary raise and lower valve. I would probably just replace the valve assy.

If your Hydraulic screen is clogged it will exhitbit those symptoms.

It is located under the seat where the return line comes out.

You will need to the remove the seat, disconnect the return line, and undo the 3 bolts that hold the screen unit in the case.

Well, i found the problem. After taking apart the 3ph valve, i found that the bypass (?) valve, that there was an 0-ring on it that was pinched, and leaking past. Total cost: 69 cents, and a piece of a cereal box... Thanks to those who responded! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
