I am a resident of NC and bought a small 30+ acre track of heaven an hour or so north of me in VA. Land was cheaper and more rural than other directions where I live given the hour plus parameters I wanted. I hunt and enjoy all outdoor activities and my wife and I lucked up on a wonderful piece of land. We have built a one-room cabin or hunting shack/barn an wonderful outdoor kitchen for entertaining and a place I can shoot and do "load work" on my handguns and rifles. I have many fruit trees and some pecan trees and plan a garden for both me and the wildlife every year. The wildlife has trouble recognizing which is which. We love it here!
