Oh no...no specs for something....I bet some peoples heads are spinning.

Look at to what kind of hills can clime....one of my projects...if it ever stops raining is to work on a pond, I have been inside the pond with the bx but it did drag the backhoe on the way out. That angle is something you might look into.

I wasn't suggesting it was a brand comparison, just particular models of brands being compared. Some folks get sort of spun up when anybody compares a BX to a Max because the Max is a bit larger, and would be better compared to a B series.

I think that happens because of pricing issues more than anything else...Kubota tends to be more expensive than Mahindra, so folks don't always compare equivalent models in order to keep to a certain price point (understandable).

Thank you for making this point. I agree. Perhaps I mis stated it in the beginning I am looking for a smaller tractor subcompact or compact which is small in size but big in features with excellent ground clearance and departure angle (Thank you for bringing this up Cherokee140) thus it's ability to clear pine stumps, debris and brush amongst trees on a pretty steep hill side, and after all that is done will primarily be used as a finish mower except when the hill needs to be cleaned up again or a drainage ditch needs to be dug. We live on 2.5 acres with a 275' gravel drive and 1 acre of lawn and a 1/2 acre garden (not including all my wifes flowers beds) in case that is a consideration.

cmkh3, the CUTS or SCUTS with spin-around backhoe seats will have much better departure angles as the backhoe is tucked up tight to the rear tires. That is the real advantage in my opinion of the spin-seat. The seat itself isn't really a bonus. I can hop off a tractor seat and onto a backhoe seat much faster than getting off and spinning a seat and then getting back on. But having the backhoe up tight to the tractor is nice for balance, departure angle and to be able to easily reach the loader control and backhoe controls and throttle, etc., from either the loader or backhoe position.

Not sure if I missed it but finish mowing with a belly mount or 3 point? The belly mount on the branson with industrial tires is a super tight fit and won't slide in and out easily. You will have to use the loader to lift the tractor up a bit. Works fine with turfs though.
