Perhaps we should combine this thread with the one on blasting stumps. The question of when the Woodchucks come out of their holes would then be kind of irrelevant!!!!

Being an Aussie I don't know what a groundhog is,sounds like a real pain though,or good sport. Can anyone enlighten me on groundhogs? Kerry.

Half way between a wombat and a rabbit.

Only major difference is that they hibernate. Otherwise they are generally dumb, destructive and breed fast. They make good target practice too.

Don't let these guys fool ya. Groundhogs make EXCELLENT pets. SHF,Thanks for the offer but I think with all the feral critters we have here don't think that would be a good move.If I ever get a chance to visit the US might have to bring the .243, sounds like it could be useful. Kerry.
