I paid 400 for the triple bagger. My dealer's list was 499 if I remember correctly. It bags beautifully and it also does a great job with leaves in the fall.

I paid $2,700 for my 05 2544 two weeks ago plus $400 for the triple bagger.

That's a great deal! I paid 3100 for the tractor itself in October.

OK guys, here is the scoop on the new seats. You cannot just order the seat by itself. What you will need to do is to order the seat as well as the plate the seat attaches to. The old seat plate will not work. So the seat, new plate, and hardware to bolt the seat up and it will work just fine.

Word to the wise about this though. The new seat sits up high, so if you are on the shorter side the extra comfort on to your bottom side might mean more strain on your legs, arms, and back. I am 6'3" so it is great for me, but they do sit up high...just something to keep in mind before you go ordering one.

Good gawd, they raised the seat even HIGHER? I cant amagine sitting up any higher on my 2544. CC tweaked the seat hight already in 2005 on the 2544+.

Earlier in the thread I had mentioned that the exhaust melted the covering on the cables that control the chute. The control would be frozen until the exhaust softened the melted plastic.

I had contacted the dealer, he said he called CC and they said...hmmmm, we'll get to work on it. Must of been the first reported problem with the new model 2542 and a snowthrower.

The dealer ordered the cables right away and called when they came in, he said CC had not come up with any solution yet. But one of his guys had an idea, and he picked the tractor up and this is what they did.

I had one snow storm after the tractor was returned and everything worked very well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif After using the tractor I called the dealer and thanked the guy that did the repair.

The picture was also posted in my album on this site /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
