I did not see factory cab on brochure and doubt they will offer one. For one, what about the 4pt hoe mount and dismount area. Fitting cabs with removable hoes is an imperfect application. It is 30 degrees this morning where I am. Do I want a cab on my L48 this morning,......yes, but I also have to take my hoe off.

Word is a Cab is in the works. Not sure how they will work with the backhoe. Our suggestion was to drop the 3pt on the cab model.

I was planning on putting an order in on a new M59 but would love a cab model....Is it fair to say the cost would be with a cab around 52K?

I guess I will just have to wait till more news comes out.

JCB already makes 4x4 backhoes in that price range with cabs and they have been making them for 10 years. The Kubota cab model will more than likely not have a 3pt.

No 3pt. hitch, no good. For me. That is what make the TLBs so handy. I would not consider buying a L48/M59 that was hoe only, I would buy a decent tractor and a beat backhoe, probably a Case 580. A $55k +/- small backhoe with cab would not be profitable for me or most other landscape contractors. Would love a cab though.

I agree, I use my 3pt quite a bit and would need it on the 59 also. I have more or less a home made cab for the 48 now. Not going to get a 59, although I wish I could,, But would really want a factory cab this time around.. The high winds, and cold combination sometimes being 40 below wind chill, makes a cab in northeast winters a pleasure to have.

I am convinced that plowing snow with a cabless tractor is a bad way to freeze to death.

I thought a JCB 2CX was around $65K? What are they selling for? At 67 HP and +12000 Lbs it is more machine than the M59

I was talking more about the 210 & 212 older series. I know they're no longer made, but you can get a clean one for under $40. More machine, too. ;)

like what?

several things thats i liked:

It has a creep mode..it allows you to move the tractor forward or backwards while the seat is turned to the backhoe...so you don't have to spin the seat around every 5 mins..

it has cylinder covers for the rear landers..so that they don't get destroyed by objects you are digging

it has the mount for a thumb on the backhoe

it has a distribution block on the front and the rear of the tractor for hydraulic attachments such as a grappler.

the lights are integrated into the canopy

the dash is on the right side when faced forward similar to the L39

it also has the self adjusting transmission for when you are in say..medium gear trying to scoop dirt and need to be in ow..it auto shifts into low.

deeper digging depth

more lift capacity..

thats all I can remember right now.
