Since were talking about guns, does anybody out there have a hmr17 savage rifle. Just want to know how they are

That's actually why we bought it...originally, we bought it for my wife (she picked it out). And, as you know, it could be DA or SA and you could carry it locked and cocked.
Another nice thing...you don't have to be concerned with bullet setback.

Yep, they are nice little guns; Roy you do realize this is not helping me stay away from the gun store...

I had heard that hornady was making .416rigby

anyone confirm this? I havn't actually been able to find it...

I've got the older SA only model jetfire, I just read they made that from 1952 to 2003 when they came out with the bobcat. 50+ years, a pretty good run.

Before all these modern pocket guns were available, these filled the need, Not to many 380's back in the day, but the little colt was decent.

I had been looking for it, and recently heard from a dealer I buy from that hornaday had it available.

las t I knew federal had beenmaking it quite a while back.. I buy it when I see it.. but it was getting hard to get.. spendy too.. especially for such a shoulder tenderizing round that it is..

browning made some good guns.. my favs are the Auto-5's gotta love a double recoil shotgun..

anymore the light 20 is my fav.. ez on the ole shoulder...

Quite the legacy there, the 1911 is undoubtedly the most recognizable gun in the world.
How many things that were designed 100+ years ago are still copied and sought after today? Incredible.

Here is a price reference on that .416 ammo Soundguy. Man that thing will hurt your wallet and your shoulder but it should take down that elephant your hunting (or anything else)
