Same here in GA and the doctor's signature has to be notarized... the forms are available from the DMV site...
There is also an option for someone that uses their own vehicle to transport an individual that is handicapped...
yep - I had to get a renewal from my Doctor here in Georgia, which had to be notarized. Conveniently her receptionist was a notary and charge $15 to stamp the form.
Mom, back in Texas, had many disabilities including being blind and had lost both legs (diabetes!!!). But she refused to get a handicap tag. She figured that there were others in much worse shape than she that needed the tags more. If she only knew of the abuse these days...
