HANGOVER MOWER .

Here is a lawn mower mounted on a boom pole.

Looks good. I have an old mower with a broken housing I've been saving just for that purpose.

It will take a lot of care to avoild tilting the mower while it's running (or even not running). Tilting it too much while running can blow the engine if the oil is allowed to pool too close to the moving piston or crankshaft.

That is the reason that I suggested a 2 stroke lawn mower, or maybe a hydraulic motor.

I've also been trying to come up with a hanging mower for around the pond. I've toyed with the idea of an old push mower mounted on the 3pt hitch. Quess it's time to draw up some plans??????????????

I just finished building my dump trailer works awesome for a single axle{hauled about 41/2-5,000lbs of slab and rough cut board @1 time}. I did make it so that I can change over to dual axle in the future when $$$ permit. I've been thinking of making some sort of pond/ditch cutter for some time, but other projects seem to come 1st. Weed eaters won't cut cattails worth a crap, just keep snapping the line. I did make a metal blate for an old weed eater that works but my back can't handle it. Plus I don't feel it is all that safe. I had an idea of using a push mower but I also wanted it to be detachable. That way I can get the best use out of the mower. If/when I can get a chance to come up with something I'll start another thread.

Should not be hard to do that.

LBrown59 ; Yeh I figured it shouldn't be to hard. I just need to make some sort of frame that the mower could sit into{probably clamped}. Then have that hook to the 3pt a couple of feet to the side, maybe with a counter balance?????????
