Is Hanson still in business? Does anybody have any contact info?

I saw this Toro blower on Craigslist and was wanting to talk to Hanson if possible. It looks a lot like my Acra made, Toro snow blower. They are made in the same town, So I am guessing they are the same company - One bought the other out.

The blower on Craig's list has its gearbox between the two halves of the Auger.

This is a residential walk behind design beefed up. Really not the kind to stand up to hard use and further, likely impossible to find parts for should you break it.

If a guy got one for close to free, you could rebuild the drive, so it drove from one end like my John Deere.

Nope, Mr. Hanson Died over a decade ago and the snovac people bought his existing drawings and any patents in force.
They have not bothered to improve them either.

I have been trying to figure out how the cable that turns the spout on mine is supposed to be run.

I saw another picture of a shoot like mine that had springs on the ends of the cable that attack to the spout. To take up the slack as the cable lengths seem to change slightly with the winding and unwinding

My cable gets slack in it and I have issues. I need to make better rollers or something to hold the shoot centered and maybe make the shoot turning mechanism completely different
