Typhon Terror X
I have a Typhon Terror X and live in FL. Need to make sure the engine and hydraulics stay as cool as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions or pictures of what fan(s) and cooler to use? Best place to locate the equipment for max cooling? I saw another thread about installing a hydraulic filter and using an electronic gauge to monitor the hydraulic fluid temperature. That looks interesting, but I believe I need to first make certain the engine & hydraulic fluid are cool as possible, and not block any airflow.

Yeah that other thread about the filter was from when I added one to my Typhon. I actually just added a cooler to my setup this past Friday and was going to make another thread for that but I'll just post it here instead.

Here is the cooler and fan I used:

Pictures attached.

Drawthree, nicely done! Do you have a diagram of how you installed the hydraulic filter & cooling system? Your installation looks very professional, and I would like to replicate on my Typhon. Also, I'd appreciate any electrical hookup notes or diagrams. Thanks again for the parts listings and pictures!

Sorry I don't have any sort of diagrams but I'm happy to try to answer any questions you have.

Thanks! I'll put together a diagram for the hydraulic filter & cooling system, before I attempt to install the filter & cooling items. Send it to you for corrections and comments, so anyone looking to add the filter & cooling items will have a diagram(s) and part list. May I use your pictures & comments from the hydraulic filter thread?

Same concept I had a tractor that tended to run hot, I installed a 12VDC fan.
I bought it from a auto junk yard I Think it came from a Volvo but there was all kinds to chose from.
Installed a switch and ran the wiring from the battery. Worked great for many years.
