Not sure you shot any holes in anything bigpete, my armour seems intact, I think you better readjust those sights.
It is probably terrorist or maybe Kubota operatives are infiltrating the JD mower assembly line and substituting metric hardware. Could this be the answer to the loose wheels bolt phenomena?
TQM, yes, lot's of companies use it, they give it the wink and a nod but they do not take it to heart and live it. I think the biggest improvement would be taking away all the Wall Street Journals so the executives could not see the stock price and then maybe they would stop reacting to daily trends and get on with buisness of long term profitability.
I would not count on brand loyality with tractors, not many farmers wear chaps, the recreational market where motorcyles thrive is a bit different from the industrial market.
I went by a JD dealer Sat by the way while out and about--no 4010s and no sales brochures on any of the smaller tractors. I did see a 4110 as I said way back in the Spring garden show but I do not remember it having a MMM installed. If you recall I said it was a very nice looking machine, new plastic hood though and I was not entirely enthusiastic with that but could be OK.
See ya, time to go to work and listen to all the TQM jabber that management likes to hear about, to bad none of it is actually put in practice. J
