Ditto.. I'm sure there will be welds I make where DC capability will be better.. and if it is en emergency.. I can always set out 3 car batteries and jumper cable weld (grin).

Hey 3 car batteries work fine, see attached pics, I've done it with great results. Just gotta try not to think about them exploding!

I just got rid of 3 batterys that would have worked for that. 8-D size...1400 amp hrs each...also 130 pounds each too..lol
