Who knows Daryl, but after talking with my dealer, the general consensus regarding the likelyhood of having a serious issue with a tractor decreases significantly after the tractor gets some time on it. Namely, the engine and transmission. In your case, the worst scenario could be what, more hot air flowing to the engine? If that were the case, then surely the temp gauge would warn you. In fact, doesn't the fancy computer setup shut it down and give you the procedure to restart? I've not really experimented with mine, I use the hour, trip time and PTO speed displays routinely. My attitude is do what needs to be done in order for it to do what you need it to do within reason. If your rear axle snaps off and they won't warranty the repair because of the shrouding you installed, it would be time to find another brand. Rat
