You got it all wrong. His first one was all blank not his third one. He must have changed his style just for you???

Guess I must be a little dense. I am trying to understand the 25 HP screw air compressor that runs 24-7, heats a building and doesn't have any increase in utility cost. Am I missing something?

Building has a demand meter and 3phase 400 amp service.Honestly the power bill has not increased by the addition of the compressor.

Does this compressor generate that much heat to warm the building? Also, how do you "bleed off" the air from the compressor without having a whooshing sound all the time?

Yes, it really does.
It has a centrifugal clutch on the actual compressor that is controlled by a pressure switch.The electric drive motor is the only part that runs all the time.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Still not sure exactly which way I'm going to go. There sure are plenty of options to ponder.

Jerome, you suggested a in the wall heater, that can blow into both rooms. I sent you an e-mail (but you didn't say if it was .ca or .com) I also privated you a message through TBN. Because you're in the HVAC business, and you're 20 minutes from me, I'm interested in talking with you.

LBrown59, I would also like to know exactly what happened. I have a relative with one of these heaters, no problems so far though.

2 of these were the Mr. Heater Buddy series.
The 3rd and scariest and most serious incident was with the larger Mr. Heater Big Buddy model. These are the portable propane units.
All 3 of them developed internal leaks that exploded and caught fire when the fumes reached the burner flame or the pilot lite.
These heaters are fueled by the 1 lb LP cylinders which are very dangers to use because there is no way to shut the gas off when a leak develops.
I don't know if the Mr. Heater residential units are prone to the same leakage problems or not, but I'm not going to buy or install one to find out.
I might have been dumb enough to try 3 of them but I'm not stupid enough to go for 4 or more.
I did learn one thing - Never hook up one of those LP tanks to anything that don't have a shut off valve right in front of the tank.

I had a couple of the Buddy Heaters in my cart at Walmart last year and when the cashier tried to ring them up her cash register wouldn't let her. Walmart would not let me buy them because of the recall that I had not heard of. I see that they are back on the shelves again this year. Maybe they did a quick fix on them.
