My name is Ed sometimes I'm called "Shoveled" as I own a 1982 shovel head Harley. Anyway have had a Kubota B7100 HST 4wd for the last 15 years. It has been problem free! Knock, Knock, Knock. Have 4 acres and have a 60" belly mower and a 50" front mount snow blower. Since this has been so good just bought a Kubota D905 engine with a Leroy Sumer generator attached. Have some issues with the D905 so will find the correct forum to post on. Happy Holidays, Ed

You made a good selection in buying your 82 Shovel head, AMF had the Company from 69-81 and their products were not as well made during that time. Problems with rings were prevalent in most models during that time. :thumbsup:

Sounds like you know your Harley's. Have had it since '92. A few years back I put in a 93" S&S. Had 75K on the HD and now have another 80K on the S$S. Had a lot of fun with her!

I will not take up much of your time. I have owned two. The best was a 63 Pan, rigid frame-4120 chrome moly steel, springer, 1 1/4 inch rake in the frame. I got the engine and tranny from an Uncle and a friend of mine named "Meathead" and I built the rest of the Bike. It took me almost 6 months to get a title plate for it after building it.
