I recently purchased a John Deere 5045D tractor to maintain my 100 acres of land and timber.I mostly bush hog and plant food plots in Autauga County,Al.(Jones,Al)So far the 5045D is a great little tractor.I love it.It is easy to operate and comfortable to drive.It is also easy on diesel fuel too...I would recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing a new tractor..:deer:

To be honest im not sure just yet. I have only had it since Friday of last week. I've fixed a washed out ditch with it so far. I have a million projects in mind but now I have to afford said projects Haha. But from having a tractor without one (ford 3400) I know I am going to enjoy it.

Welcome aboard! I also have a 5045D, but with a 512 loader. I LOVE it! You will find all sorts of uses for your loader.

I did have a fixed wing rating(civilian/Private Pilot w/500 hrs)It got too expensive...I learned that all it takes to fly is airspeed and money..:laughing:
