The hydraulic rams for the front loader are powered via a diverter valve from the main pump on mine. Which tractor have you got?

I have the MF245, yours is different than move and you are powered off the internal pump. Were your 3 point arms lifting?

I guess i should post this in MF classic section too?

Anyway - problem no hydraulics!

I've changed the oil and filter plus diesel flush with no effect.

Had a look through dip stick cover and all looked ok, lever operation and outlet pipe connected. Looked ok.

So i've taken the hydraulic lift cover off, drained all the oil again and taken off the pressure control valve (as in the picture) as i removed it, the cap came off and spring fell into 10 pieces. Also as i removed the pipe to the diaphram it appeared to be full of water (clear fluid).

So i have taken the whole thing down to the local garage for them to sort it (i panicked).

I the meantime i am going to clean all the sump and components in there. Theres a good 2cm of sand etc covering the bottom! Really dirty.

Is there any other things i should be checking? Is this the cause of no hydraulics have i broke it more?

Spring no. 3 broke!

That looks like the hydraulic pressure relief valve. With the spring broken, it likely is just circulating the oil at low pressure but cleaning up of the sump and other components, getting all the old oil and water out is mandatory. Likely if you took to a good shop they can fix it up for you.

I told him it was Nice to see more Norwegian on TBN. I'm guessing that Norwegian does not make much sense to you who grew up with the English language and google translator has a unique ability to mess up the translation from Norwegian to English on an epic level at times :laughing:
