- Satoh Bull S630D
I bought my Bull S630D by mistake about 4 years ago. It was an 'online' sale some 3 hours away and I thought it was a small lawn tractor I planned on using to shovel snow off my driveway. I was really surprised when I went to pick it up.
I figured I would just clean it up and sell it. But I never did. Even the wife came to love the darn thing. This week alone we used the 3-point hitch to move a 29' travel trailer, the bucket to tear down a small old barn to make way for a new one and move a wood pile.
Then disaster! I heard a "click" that sounded like I broke the plastic steering wheel - but alas, I broke something else and my steering is gone... That's what brought me to TBN.
My first instinct was to sell it for parts but maybe I'll try to fix it first and I was looking for a service and repair manual when I discovered TBN. I happen to be a retired industrial machine engineer with enough sense to seek out a manual and ask for advice.
I haven't yet taken apart the steering box but I expect to dig into it soon. Fabricating new parts might be a challenge so I may be asking TBN readers for parts myself instead of selling mine.
