Help,bx24 wont move

Thanks for the update. How did you feel about cracking the trans time wise

Just thought I would post a update for all that helped. I split the transmission and it is the diffy lock pins sheared off and took out two gears in the diffy. Looks like the guy I bought it from did not know how to use the diffy lock. a lot of wear from trying to engage. As for the brake, looks like the brake discs are wore out. Bought a service manual and they are out of spec by .010.

Glad you caught it when you did, I recall a couple incidents where the pieces got jammed thru the housing by the ring gear.

Sorry to hear about prev owner abuse. In addition to regularly stomping on lock lever and breaking spider gears, sounds like he drove it w/brake on. Glad to hear you're onto issues...you're gonna love your BX when done. Keep us updated.

Hello all, took a week to get the parts (diffy,diffy lock,brake pack). Put the bx back togeather yesterday and all is good. I was going to tear apart to replace brake this winter anyhow. Just ended up doing it sooner then thought. Not a very hard thing to do if you have some skill.
