I believe Muhammad asked us not to use that functionality some time ago. Can't find the reference, so maybe I have it wrong.

Re: HELP L3010 STRANDED!

Boondox,

It's been added to the top of my TO DO list!

You're probably on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List now, MrP. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Actually, according to the user Guidelines (link is at the bottom of every page), that image was way over the file size limit and somewhat over the width limit for inline picts. It's one of those "be kind to slow modems" issues, among other things.

Also, in past discussions, Muhammad has requested that when someone uploads an image as an attachment, we should not reply by making it an inline pict. The penalty is usually death, but Muhammad is going to let it slide this time.

Well, I can understand that since half the time I am using my work laptop from home with a 28.8.

I've got a 56k modem, too, but I'm connected at 26.4 nearly all the time; 28.8 is the fastest I've ever been connected./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I wonder if we should start a new thread "worst connection times/experiences"? My connect speed from home is usually 19,400. Sometimes we get 14400 and if the weather has been really warm and dry, we can get 26,000.

The mice really play havoc on the phone system in our area. Everytime I see a crew doing some horizontal drilling, I pray that we are getting new fiber optic lines. Alas, not yet. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

Re: HELP L3010 STRANDED!

I think that the two front protectors are not welded on straight. Add that to having a short valve stem and things become slightly tricky. I was thinking of adding the stem protectors to my Ag rims. I'm not sure if doing that will harm the rims from the welding. I need to look into it.

Frank,

I have been at 28.8 for the last three years on my Laptop from work. I have had an upgrade pending for the last 8 months (still pending). I really had no hopes of getting anything faster (since I refuse to pay my own money to upgrade works PC).

UNTIL YESTERDAY!!! It seems that one of our suppliers sent a modem with a unix server that wasn't needed. The project manager was nice enought to let me use it!!!

I'm now 56KB!!!! Yeah! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
