Help me ID this logging winch

I recently bought this logging winch from a guy down the road. I'm at least the 3rd owner. Was wondering who made it. I did a google search and thought it looked like an old Fransgard, but another guy around here was familiar with it and said it was a Farmi. It's probably been painted and I can't find any stampings on it to identify it.

Need more pics. Looks like it's similar to my 351 that has legs instead of a buck blade.

On second thought, it's not a farmi 351, at least, not quite like mine. The legs are mounted pretty differently. Good luck in your hunt.

:cool2: I believe you have a Farmi JL250 which was made from 1980-1984 or a Farmi, JL300 which was made from 1985-1989. I have a JL300 with legs on it instead of a blade which i got in 1984.
If you go to www.farmiwinch.com. Under the product tab you should find an option for parts. this shows some pictures. Good luck, you've made a good find, John
