They say the best way to deal with mole holes is to eliminate the moles by eliminating their food source .... grubs. Treat the area for grubs. Granulated products aren't exactly inexpensive though.

It will be a while before I have much to report, but I'll post something when I have things sorted out. Today I took the 10-tined, 7 ft cultivator out just to see what I could do with it: I got no traction. Soil is still moist, and as noted in your other thread I would need at least 50hp to pull such a big plow. I intend to remove 5 of the tines and use 5 when things are a little drier so I can get more traction. I soaked them all with penetrant tonight and will slowly work on getting the bolts loose.

I've got tons of earthworms in the area, which I do not want to kill off, or I might try the grub treatment route.
