Help Please! Loflin Fabrication Grapple

Need a little help. Just ordered a XR4140 YAAAAHOOOOO!!!! Ordered it to come with a Grapple. The dealer sells Loflin Fabrication Grapples but after looking on TBN I can not find where anyone has purchased one of these units. Can anyone give me there opinion on this manufacturer or the product? Also by luck I found out that my dealer was going to set my grapple up without a 3rd function on the joy stick. How the heck would that work.?. I have asked for the 3rd function so we are working that out.

There are alot of grapple manufactures, and loflin is no different in that they offer many different ones. So weather the one your dealer is ordering is gonna be a good fit for your machine or not.....dont know because you didnt say which model he is getting. Grapples are pretty simple and straight forward. Not alot of differences between different brands. Most MFG's offer different styles, (rock, root, etc) and different weights and thickness of tines. They do look reputable so I wouldnt have any concerns.

And yea, you need a 3rd or a diverter to power it.

I have a Loflin Monster Grapple:

Have had it over 4 years and haven't hurt it with this over 6,000 pound lift machine. :thumbsup:

Your dealer is probably going to use you a set of your rear auxiliary remotes to use it. Just need two hoses. It’s the easiest cheapest route. Have fun.
