Help Removing Knob

Heat gun or hot water will do the trick. Most are a basic poly and press fitted on a flat shaft that has barbs to aid retention.
L.O.L., mine also falls off from time to time as a previous poster mentioned. Slip the claws of a hammer over the shaft and pull.

Had to pull one of a BX last year and somebody had put adhesive on it, it was a pain to remove.

heat gun or hair dryer will do the trick

Tried using a heat gun, worked like a charm. The knob came off with a good tug.I had to tap it back on so I don't think it will fall off.One thing to do is put a wet rag around the knob so as not to melt the plastic trim piece.
