Help - want to switch tires/wheels to a bigger size

Ok, I ordered a new L3200 and ask dealer to switch Agri Tires to Industrial R4. The new R4 wheel and tires looks way to small, matching up to the rear fenders. I verified using the Kubota site that it is in fact correct. Regardless, I don't like the look of small tires in a big fender opening, it looks mismatched. Have anyone done this in the past and placed (lets say for example a set of) L4400 R4 tires on a L3200 to get a more fuller look. If you have specs or pictures please post it.

I don't think it looks too bad.If you look at the new Grand L60 series they have the same type of high fenders.One thing to be aware of when adding bigger tires is to check the clearances on the front tires at full steering lock with fully compressed suspension on both sides.The original tire size doesn't have a lot of clearance on a lot of tractors.

Yeah, I didnt expect the tires to look so big, but Im used to it now. They are actually only about an inch taller than the normal 3200 ag tires. I definitely got the floatation that I was after

Thanks for posting those pictures. I have had thoughts about trying the same thing. Glad to know it works well and nice to see how it looks. I have R4's that I like, but it would be nice to have a set of turfs also.

I put 3240 turfs on my 3200 and everything bolted up no problem. The ratio is near identical for both sets. I found the 3200 turfs to have an undersized width for the work we do. Not sure if the r4s will rub but the turfs worked perfect.

How did you check the ratio?

No, not without spacers. There is roughly an inch of clearance between the rear tires and fenders, about a half inch less clearance than the R4s
