- Mahindra 5530
So I have been keeping an eye open for a used backhoe for my 5530. I couldn't afford to buy new with a backhoe included ($10k+).
I just stumbled upon a used Bradco 611 locally. Looks to be in great shape, and is at $2,500 obo. So before I commit to something like this, I had a couple of questions: First, this does seem to be a really good price, right??? Second, the 5530 comes with a 511, not a 611, will my tractor be able to handle the hydraulic requirements?? I have tried to find Bradco's website to view specs, but no luck. Third, how much is the subframe going to cost?? I assume this could be purcahsed directly through Mahindra. Fourth, am I missing any other add-ons my tractor will need other than subframe?
Regarding hydraulics, my understanding is that these types of BH units can run off of the tractors rear hydraulics ports. If you need more GPMs, a pump can be added to the rear PTO, but then you would need an external hyrdaulic fluid reservoir... Is this correct??
Sorry for all of the questions, but I am excited that I may be able to pick up a BH for my Mahindra for much, much less than a new unit!
Thanks,
