Tractor
Kubota BX25D
I just purchased a new Kubota BX and now I need to sell my Gravely 14-G rider. It is a 1994 model with a 50 inch deck. It does not have hydraulic lift. I have all of the owners manuals that came with the tractor and a snow blade will go with the sale. It has 800 hours and is in very good condition. Garage kept from day one. The paint still shines great and all of the decals are in good shape.

That leads me to my question. What would be a good starting point pricewise? I will be attempting to sell locally, prior to utilizing ebay or the likes.

thanks!

I would start at $1700 and go from there. Lowest I would go on the machine would probably be $1200 - $1000. You can always drop it but you can't go up. A good/great G series tractor in the condition you describe with the included attachments is worth a good price to the right person. For comparison, there is a local person selling a 12G in pretty good shape, hydro lift, with 50" deck and front snowblower for $2000. Personally I think he's a bit high on the price and could probably get more talkers if he dropped it by $500. Good luck with the sale.

Here are pics of the unit. Only three blemishes are the cracked seat, peeling paint on the seat pan and the gear shift plate. I believe I am going to ask $1800 including the snow plow and a pull behind disk. Thanks!

Finding the right person is the problem. Most guys don't want a 20 year old garden tractor anymore especially a 14 hp, they want a zero turn of a 30hp 4 wheel drive hydro. Those of us that have Gravelys know what they are missing. I would start at $1500 for you're tractor and it may take quite a while before the right buyer finds you.

Good luck
