NH T5060 2010 12 x 12 Standard. No power shuttle. Cab. Not Deluxe-Standard. 2 WD.
Hello. New to forum.
I am trying to bring back to live a 2010 T5060 that was vandalized.
Currently, I am stuck on trying to find what relays and fuses are missing. I see only few in the box. Should have more. I tried different searches online but can not figure out which relays to buy for replacement. I am attaching a photo of what my box looks like, and inside of the box with shown fuses (but no parts numbers or explanation what they are).
I do have the repair manual, but it does not show the relay/fuse panel. Maybe because there are so many different models of those tractors?
Does anyone know where I can look up those missing relays, their part numbers, and possibly where to buy them?
Thank You so much for taking time to help.

Welcome to TBN.

If you look at the fuse/relay panel description chart, you should be able to determine what fuses you need. Most of the fuse information (Amperage) is shown in the chart.

If you have the wiring diagram, you should be able to determine what kind of relay you need. I would guess that most of the relays would be normally open, SPST.

Some the relay pin out should be easy to determine by tracing the wires from whatever they connect to back to the fuse/relay box.

Do you have any electrical experience ? If not, you may want to ask a friend or neighbor, who has some electrical knowledge, to help.

Here is a link to some help in understanding relays.

The Operators manual may be the place you have to go. I did some repairs and added some options to my Ford/NH/Fiat. What terribly uninformative manuals.

Here is an example of tractor less than 20 years old that electrical schematics should be accurate. This tractor may be like new and is still has somewhat basic electronics. $500.00 manuals that are poorly written is wrong. I doubt the dealer has a mechanic that can repair that tractor from the schematics.

You may need to find someone local that owns one to let you photo and take notes.
Or as richard001 said find someone with experience. That could cost unless you find a nice guy. I know you will get it figured it out.

As tractor manufacturers moved toward computer software that controls machinery, and they force consumers to take it to the dealer and plug it in for repair work.
What is in the future.? Million-dollar tractors disabled by software glitches or, Sorry software obsolete.
I would like a brand-new tractor but settled for a 1999 S3010 with 524 hours that I can still repair myself.

I have never paid a car or tractor dealer for repairs by am stuck with a 25-year-old truck and tractor. It's fine because I refuse to be owned by dealers and manufactures. Tractors need to stay basic functional repairable machines.
People may want joysticks and satellite control, but I see a future of solid mechanical machines crippled by electronics.

I just read a long thread on here about a NH that the PTO slammed into gear and slammed to a stop because of some OSHA idiots and the dealer had it for weeks and couldn't fix a software glitch with the gauges. They finally did.

Sorry about the rant. I know I'm an ancient old guy.
They can build it they can supply a good electrical schematic.
Curious about the vandalism. pee'd off ex-wife?

The complete service manual for my NH 8160 has very intensive electrical schematics.
It is also about 5 inches thick the pdf one has 1456 pages.

I used your pictures and a T5060 parts doc to try and identify the relays. None of the below is for certain, but what I would call "informed guidance":
  • MR1 appears to be CNH Part # 84539290 (power relay) - RELAY,12V, 50A w/Resistor, Form A; it could also be a diode Part # 5179765 (but most likely the relay),
  • the majority of the other relays appear to be CNH Part # 5171084 -RELAY - 20A w/Resistor, Form C,
  • R25 and R26 aren't depicted in the legend (I'm not sure you need these), but they appear to be CHN Part # 90404392
    -RELAY - 40A w/Resistor, Form C.
  • All of these appear to be ISO relays - i.e. standard patterns!
Relays from CNH are pricey! If I were attempting this repair, I would
seek to use electrically compatible parts with conforming ISO patterns:
  • CNH Part # 84539290 sub HELLA 933332531 (70A)
  • CNH Part # 5171084 sub HELLA 965453801 (12V, 20/35A)
  • CHN Part # 90404392 sub HELLA 933332151 (40A)
These aftermarket parts are available from RockAuto and others for a fraction of the CNH pricing; in the case of MR1, HELLA 933332531
has a higher (better) current rating. I would start with purchasing one MR1 (HELLA 933332531) and a half dozen or so of HELLA 965453801 in order to get the unit running and evaluate the lighting/accessory systems afterwards. I'm not sure about R25, R26 - check the operators manual or ask a dealer to see if you need these.

As mentioned above: the parts doc shows a Part # 5179765 (-DIODE, 6A, 400V) in a 4-pin ISO relay package. Internally it's two 400V 6A diodes (Comchip Technology 6A04-G Diodes) in a standard Form A (4 pin) relay case.
The diodes are connected to terminals as follows:
30 ->|- 87
86 ->|- 85
where >| represents the diodes. What I'm saying is you can fabricate (solder) this part from two diodes and a disassembled 4-pin ISO relay for a fraction of the CNH price. Just be aware that your unit may require this part. Again, you may want to ask dealer about this part on your unit.

Lastly, somewhere on the unit there should be CNH Part # 5180717 -FLASHER UNIT, 2+1+1, 5-pin. I believe Grote 44090 could sub for this.

That's all I have on this. Work carefully. Good luck!

The ISO 7000 graphical symbols are designed to be intuitive, but sometimes require explanation (at least for me). Here is a link to the definitive source: ISO 7000 Graphical symbols for use on equipment.

Even still, some of the T5060 symbols seem to be non-standard. i.e. MR1 is obviously engine-related (engine start or stop) but I would need an Operator's Manual. Same for R9, R10.
