No offense, but it sounds like you need a new lawyer. One that will raise holy **** in court to the judge for the lack of progress, the lack payment, the lack of respect for the court, and specifically the lack of the bit... uh person not paying what is owed you.
Honestly I kinda agreen with this some. Your lawyer may be good but sounds like she ain't too aggressive.

Wish you the best and keep going with the patience

As I said in post number 685.
I don't have a lawyer. The governor made our lawyer a judge. Then later transferred him to Eastern Washington.
I was depending on the prosecuting attorney's office to work for me. Being as the neighbor lady broke the law!!!!!!!

But it has been a little over 3-years, I wonder what the statute of limitations are in Kitsap county / Washington state?
Washington Statutes of Limitations - FindLaw

Well I didnt go back a re-read the posts, nor can I exactly remember 3 yrs ago, but, since this is an ongoing thing AND she's actually be found quilty and is simply not paying what you are owed, Statutes of Limitations dont apply.

Unless, of course, you mean that she is doing the minimum until you run out of time to collect, as in time limits for debt collectors. I honestly cant tell you if there is one in a case like this, but 3yr would be too short of time if there were.

I would get a lawyer for my own interest. When her lawyer complains how poor she is, or that she needs time, or whatever, the prosecutor seems to be in agreement by not fighting hard. You need someone there to argue the amount of financial and emotional suffering and whatnot you are having by having this drag on. There has to be a time when enough is enough, you know? If you have a judgement against her, you lawyer can start proceedings in order to collect. The prosecutor has no real incentive to do that for you as he doesn't work for you.

Also, having her put in jail would NOT be in your best interest as people in jail cant pay their bills..

Dude.. so what? Let her file bankruptcy.. Do you not pay what you owe, especially through mallice, just 'cause you 'are broke'? If she has that kind of financial hardship, let her file it with the court, then file for bankruptcy. If she doesnt do those, then she needs to pay up for the damages. Period.

The deputy prosecutor told me there is no way a judge will put her in jail for this. I think she is 69 or 70 years old.

Yep.. So the judge and prosecutor will go pretty much easy on her as this is mostly a civil matter. You need to get someone on your side.
