The black cat, Zak, managed to pin the FIL's 90lb lab into the corner once, so I am not in too much fear of him taking care of himself. He goes about 18lb. He's our watch cat. The noises that come out of him when there's someone at the door can be truly frightening. LOL

The other, Alex, is a very efficient stealth machine. I truly think that he can become invisible. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

2 dogs would be too much for her in one meal, maybe breakfast and dinner

We like cats also, we had 8 but 2 dogs got into our garage where the 2 were sleeping and killed Ernie who was 17years old weighed 28lbs and another one we called Rascal he was a tough little guy always ran the neighbors cat off..who we had for 10years, both since kittens..Now we have 6.. We also have 2 dogs both get along with the cats.. who were inside the house with me and when they started barking I went outside but the damage had been done.. I used to think our cats could handle a dog also, but now I know better.. I did grab one of the dogs, was not visous towards me and called animal control who in turn found out who they belonged to and now we are contemplating what to do.. our garage is 150 ft off the road and fence had been damaged by hurricane...this happened back in October 04.. if you leave your cats out take precautions as it only takes a moment for a stray dog to get them... I talked to a Lawyer and he said unfortunately the courts look at pets like a commodity and will only grant replacement costs..27 years combined and gone in a second.. so how much would it take to replace one of your pets /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif By the way I think that cat would have a chance with a dog /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

that cat is a leopard, but you know that.
We have 7 inside, 4 outside. One of the ones we have inside was raised by us from 2 weeks old. bottle, dropper, rice bags for warmth, make him poop and all. he is spoiled as you can guess.

the rest were a bit older but all our like our kids now, since we have empty nest syndrome and love it.
