how would that damage happen? trying to lift too much with grapple?Be very, VERY careful. There have been a few threads here recently about people bending their curl cylinders and it seems to be not uncommon with grapples.

Generally you can damage the curl cylinders by back dragging at high bucket angles. The lines are closed & back dragging generates excessive force. If you are actuating the curl cylinders, the relief valve is in the circuit & should protect things.how would that damage happen? trying to lift too much with grapple?
To be honest, I can't remember. I bought a BX25D that came with a backhoe attached. I'm not sure if the 3pt was optional or not.Isn't that standard?
