The 2011 I traded was xlt and 3.55. It had 32,000 miles on it. I wanted the 3.73 so I could sell the F350 as I dont drive it much anymore.

flyingcow, I was going to recommend doing what Powerhorse did and get the heavy duty payload package. It will give you several hundred extra pounds of payload capacity.

If i do this , thats the plan. Get it rated for as much as i can in the 1/ ton class

This one came with 5 years of payments. The interest rate is low so I spread the payments out.

...The 2009 F250 I have is paid for. I just don't budget for new vehicles less than 10 years apart. 10 years old or 250k miles are my requirements for justification of a new truck.

Oh yeah, there's no doubt which one I'd rather have a ton in. I'm sure the F150 will do fine, but I like the extra size and weight of the F250, especially when towing.
