How about getting set up with First Choice as a dealer and offering their products for sale here at TBN. The implements could be shipped directly from the manufacturer. You could use to profits to keep the site going, fix the roof and pad the bank account. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Mark up maybe 15-20%, no stock to worry about and First Choice has a direct marketing platform that 10K+ unique users access per month.

Or

How about a “Limited Edition TBN” First Choice Tiller or Mower or whatever?

I like it. In fact I was thinking it might be worthwhile to become a dealer out here in the west. I wonder what that might entail.

Hey Russ,

I hope you've got a canopy on that Boomer of yours. It's going to be a hot one this weekend. I'm off to play golf tomorrow but Sunday is reserved for tractorin.

I think that being a First Choice dealer would be great. Plus I'd have to build that new shop that I've been wanting - sounds like a new project./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Todd:

Canopy!!!!!! I wish. Actually I've been researching that idea for some time now. Looking heavily at a Westendorf canopy. But haven't been able to get any feed back from anybody out there who has one. I'd love to hear from anybody out there as to their quality, durability, fit and finish. ( Is anybody out there? )

Golf? I haven't tried that game yet.

I've had a passle of company here all week, so I'm behind, way behind. Looks like tommorrow will lots of seat time. Probably sunup to sundown.

Our new TC29 has been getting quite a workout. she has seen 49 hours in her first 5 weeks. Looks like she will be a little over her 50 hours when she goes in for her first service next week.

Well, you picked the longest Saturday of the year to do it. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Mike,

Yeah, that's a possibility... they expressed an interest to work with us, but I suspect it will be a little while longer before they're ready to make the decision. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

also, you could have some kind of contest here and give away a rear blade or other implement, winner pays shipping costs. good marketing idea if you need it. bw

Maybe it's just me but this does'nt sound like a good deal for the consumer (us). No offence Mohammed, but it's my understanding that anyone can call First Choice, order equipment and have it shipped. I've talked with Pieter, great guy and is VERY commented to customer service. Why would I want to go through TBN and pay a markup? Now maybe if there was a discount... and maybe that's what you are saying, I don't know. But a discount to TBN users would be a good marketing plan and a way to sell a whole lot of equipment!

Russ,

I did get some good seat time in this weekend. My "canopy" really only is ROPs and cover, not one of those fancy enclosures that those folks out east need to keep out of the very cold weather that we never see. Man was it a nice weekend. I think your 49 hours out does me. I've probably put on about 30 in the first 8 weeks or so. You are retired (lucky for you) so I'd expect some real work to get done at your place.
