Picture of the blades on my NH.........TC33D with 914a mmm Murph put me on to the gators.......you can see they really have a cutting edge that really chomps the grass...........

Still no Gator blades yet. I'll have to call tomorrow. I tried to email West Hills, but both times it was rejected /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

My CC has been charged and it'll be a week tomorrow...sure hope this was a reputable company.

Well - on my cub cadet.

Gator Blades = Gimmick Blades.

I don't know if they are too short or what... but I get a very poor cut where the triple blades overlap. I had to go EXTREMELY slow to get an even cut.

I will be bringing my OEM blades to the tool shop and getting them sharpened.

The gator blades will be the garbage blades to shred leaves and sticks with. 50 buck disappointment.

Well, I finally received the Gators and cut my 2.5 acres tonight. Two words say it all...I"M IMPRESSED!! Now I do have a golf course!!!
Didn't notice any increase in noise or loss of power cutting uphill on a 20 degree slope. Most of all, no grass clumps. It was sliced & diced pretty good, and spread evenly. Barely even noticed any clippings at all!!

IMHO...if you are considering the Gaters, don't hesitate, buy them. I've had my TC21D and 914A MMM for 4 1/2 yrs, and I'll admit...I wasn't really happy with results of this mower. Now I am /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For my first time using them instead of OEM, I saw a major difference. The last time I mowed, I had freshly sharpened OEM blades and still had a trail of clumpy grass. Now you can barely even see any clippings. I also did not change my speed. Set the PTO to 540+, HST in low range, and it had no problem cutting even the thicker areas.

Nice...it worked. Had to decrease the file size, but easy to do using Irfanview
