Thanks...it took a lot of tractor seat time to get it that way. It also helps to have over a foot of 'black gold' farmland topsoil to grow in. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
The money side...the area with the stone wall...is only a year old. I tilled that side (about 60K sf) under and replanted it a year ago. I plan to do the same thing to the other half this fall.

My MMM is a rear discharge.

The only real concern I had, based on what you said, was mowing uphill on the slope part of my yard. It did so without a wimper. Here's a pic of the slope.

Well- I found out my mystery with the gators. I got them online.. and I got the correct part number.

Take a look at the picture. I cant really blame the blades. Place I bought them online says they are the only ones that gator shows.

I boxed them back up and sent them back. I don't think gator makes the proper size for my cub cadet. left two stripes partially cut.

The grass needs to be dry for gators to cut well. Up north in the cool season grass areas, spring and fall ,when the grass blades are succulent (full of water), you won't like the gators as well.

I mowed the other night because I had to, the lawn was way long from a long period of rain. It was so wet I worried about my tires leaving ruts and my Gators cut great. No problems with wet grass here.
