Highest selling Kubota in USA?

Just starting reading this thread, but from my point of view......NH tractors are crap........ever been to italy or owned a Fiat. I have 2 Ford tractors, prior to New Holland name, and are excellent, and numerous Kubota tractors and excvators. I would not even consider looking at a "Case Nhew Holland" machine, complete crap from their excavators, skid steers, or tractors. Sorry, they what they are. No details required.

Back to the point of the post. I am thinking there are many B7800's sold. From what I understand they can load a 1 ton, can lift about 1000lbs, can easily be towed and are in the realm of relative afford ability $16,000 or so (still crazy money in my book). I like the BX24, short money for FEL and HOE, but probably a little small for most. So my guess is B7800.

I love my Kubota's, two B6000E's, rock solid reliability, strong for diminutive size, parts still available (new and used).

I looked at the JD 790 and B7800, I like the B7800. I also find the Kubota dealership a whole lot more inviting, I tried the online deere price request twice and was blown off both times, I walk into local Dealer (windham NH) and stand around like a dope while there is no one to assist. Asked once for price and the guy could literally not find the price for a machine sitting on his lot, I left without quote.

My guess B7800.

To be clear, also a Deere fan as I own a JD 350B dozer. What a nice motor on that machine!!

I like the New Holland product and the local dealer. I did buy a lot of Land Pride parts from them and have a pretty good rap with them. Good people. The problem I have with NH is that you have to go way up their food chain to get a proper comparrison against JD or Kubota. NH high end is not as good as the same Kubota or JD product IMHO, and there is little offering worth looking at other then their high end. Not for my money at least.

JD is hit and miss. When they get it right they really do well. The JD-955 being a great example. But lately I think the best bang for the buck is still Kubota.

For the local nursery business in Oregon, the B7800 is probably 50% of all tractors. They just own the market here with that model for that application.

FWIW-Larry is a Dick. I have never heard from a legitimate dealer bad mouthing customers like he does-in any industry! Would anyone really buy a $15,000+ tractor from that guy? I wouldn't buy anything from him!

I looked long, and hard, for a year and, I liked all of them. That is the big three here, Kubota, John Deere, NH, they are all good tractors. I bought the NH TC33D in 2003 brand new. It was a very little more than the Kubota, much less than John Deere. However, the NH was a little larger than the Kubota.
The thing that was a factor that I DIDN'T know, that probably made it cheaper, was the dealer was out of business in about 1 month. I have worked with and gotten very good service from Baltz Equipment company here.
Who sells the most, or what is the highest selling Orange, I do not know but I think they are good and so are the rest. Of course you could get a lemon in any of them.
I have not been sorry about my New Holland. I love it. It does everything I want and, I am sure the others would too.

They all make lemons-you are sure right about that!!!

One of my best friends owns a TC33 and has an amazing amount of hours on it. For retired Tektronix he has something like 4500 by now. I envy his ability to get that much seat time in his retirement!

2-3 years ago, I'd say its probably a BX. Today you almost need to consider the RTV as well, they sell like hotcakes! It would be a toss-up between those two.

How many RTVs can the farmers and job site folks be buying. The RTV is awesome for farmers and work sites, but it still misses the entire recreational market by a mile. IIf it was 20 to 30 mph faster it would be a huge seller and maybe be able to compete against all the gas powered models like the killer Rhino.

I wonder if the gas powered version of the RTV is have more top end and more suspension.

I am a salesman (not tractors) and I have known since day one that CHEAP can either make or break you in a sales call... I accept Larrys apologie.. I do love my little bx and I did alot of research(probably to much, thats the George Costanza in me) before I actually purchased my tractor. For me it came down to the features Kubota offered and the value that I felt I was getting. The dealer that I purchased my machine also played a big part in my decision, this has turned out to be an added value that I really wasnt considering at first. ......Now lets all hold hands with Larry and sing Kumbaya... this is a great site!!!!!

Dont you mean sing Kumbaota.

I personally didn't think Larry's original post was inflamatory. He said that if the tractor will do the job and is cheaper, most will go for it. That is how I and probably most Kubota users got into the brand. Reliability has since become the thing that won me over in my second and third tractor purchases (all of which I still have, from 23HP to 90HP).

Since that original post, I think a lot of the posts were beyond reasonable. For some reason, Larry's offended me less than some others.

I can't speak for you but, as far as I am concerned, Larry went way beyond the line. Extremely unprofessional by any standards and not very knowledgeable on top of that.

When I visited the NH forum I was very interested in making an investment in NH equipment. I will state that he -Mr Larry-was so bad he was actually one of the reasons I stayed with Kubota.

You might say Larry is one of Kubota's better salesmen!!

I'm not even sure Larry is still around. At least not in his original form. This thread was recently ressurected after 8 months of dormancy. After all that he may have rejoined using a different nickname and avatar. Heck, some of these people defending Larry may be Larry himself in sheep's clothing!

I still say his original comments were inflammatory. Equating New Holland and Kubota to Cadillac and Kia. C'mon, that's just plain asking for it. It's not really a good way to win people over to your product. In fact, it would drive me away from it.
