You could see just how many fittings can a person use?
You can figure out the absolute cheapest way to go as well as finding out what supplier is going to provide each and every piece at the cheapest rate.
Or if your time is worth about anything to you, you can just use the cleanest way of doing what it is that you need to do.
As far as hose memory and clocking of any angled fitting on a hose, after a few thousand hoses provided, I have not had a single issue when there is a straight fitting at the opposite end of the angled fitting.
But I can only speak from my experience. Apparently, others have had issues of some kind?
