If your tractor is not bouncing and grizzling trying to pull a load all over the place I would imagine it should be fine. We pull quite a lot with an old 45 Hp tractor. If the tractor can pull it, it should be fine on the machine. In most cases it will lose traction before its possible to hurt the tractor itself while pulling. I have a small HST, new, and havent tried it for pulling just yet. But these things are normally used for dragging plows and subsoilers in the ground, so that would be really hard to pull, but they are designed to pull or just lose traction. It shouldnt hurt the tractor. But I'm no expert, many people might know something different they can add. But I know if your using a subsoiler deep in the ground there is a continuous load on the tractor. As long as the engine isnt lugging or clutch slipping it should be perfectly fine. I would imagine the HST will pull fine until the relief lifts, then you know. Otherwise it should pull away without damaging the tractor. At most the hydraulics could get hot, but im no expert on it. I see what your asking. I would pull as much as the tractor can pull without losing ability to control, steer, or continuously losing traction, or lugging the engine. Otherwise, load her up.
