Do what the doc says or it may be longer. I'd probably be so antsy by now I'd be trying to use it. Glad to hear surgery went well.

M7 Follow Docs orders and do not strain your shoulder its a pay it now kinda of thing....Friend had shoulder surgery in jan and didnt completly take it easy now he is off 3 more months and possible more surgury...

I'm doing my best to lay off it.....does installing a 100 gal aux diesel tank on my flat bed Dually today count against me????

Only if that arm is completely taped up so that you cannot grab or hold any item or tool in any way shape or form and also no pushing or leaning on anything with that side of your body.:yes:

Ok, I think I found a downside to the Bulldog. Remember when I ordered those parts almost a month ago? Well, first shipment was ......well, it just did not arrive. looking on their website and after a week, my order said "pending". So I called them, and the reason was they were waiting for the front hitch to arrive. I said, "ship everything else then" & they agreed. A few days later I got the mirror, the front hitch the rear fender & the windshield. Turns out the windshield was the wrong one, called them(every time in this ordeal they were always very professional on the phone) & they said they were emailing me a Return Label. 4 days later I call again since no RMA has arrived, nor has the Roof. They say something went wrong on the order and the roof never shipped. RMA arrives the next day and I get the [wrong]windshield out to them. A week or so later the correct windshield arrives...still no roof, so I call AGAIN. Hmmm, Mr. xxx, looks like the order for the roof got ....uhmmmm...lost, so I am having it shipped today. Well, guess what, roof arrived yesterday...yep...WRONG one{sigh}.

Talked to a supervisor, and he said they were having issues with the shipping department,,,,uhmmmhummmm. RMA is en-route for the wrong roof and the new one is supposed to be shipped tomorrow.....we will see. I understand a mistake, but this is way over the top ridiculous. I want/need the bed conversion from them to make mine into a 4 seater(wife owns a small Real Estate company here and we use the Bulldog to show property). So I am waiting to see if the cut me any kind of deal on the $650 bed/seat package.

Insanely slow....I'm not even supposed to lift my arm without "lifting assistance
for 3 more weeks. And...since any PT would be on my dime I opted to do my own. I am taking it easy, but at the same time doing more than I am supposed to do. On 100 ac, a dozen cows, 2 horses, fencing, tractor work, etc....some of it has to be done and there is not always a friend or neighbor here to help.

On a good note, for my troubles I got a total of 18% off the passenger seat conversion. Everything is back together and here is what the bed to seat conversion looks like:

A larger steel bed replaces the poly bed-

The seat flips up from under the tailgate to make two more seats with seat belts. This will come in handy for my wife when she has to show large tracts of rural property(she owns a real estate company here in our county):

The only downside it that I had to remove the rear LED brake light since it covers it up, so I will have to wire in two smaller one's on either side. The other is that my receiver hitch now needs an extension out past the foot well for me to use the hitch again....probably about 20".
