I appreciate the heads up, I sure am able to break stuff without any help, so I will try and remember not turn hard when reversing.

I finished the dashboard grab bar today. I think it came out pretty good, first I welded on a 4" section of 1/2" EMT to the existing tubing:

Then the 3/4 EMT slipped over it and I drilled a hole in it, removed the bar and painted it. I used SS bolt's with nylocks to secure the bar:

Nice add-on. Now you can attach some easy to reach cup holders to it.

Thanks, I know my welds are not too great, but even on the lowest setting the Millermatic 210 can blow right through EMT. I had to kinda connect the spot welds all the way around to keep the heat down.

Another thing I discovered, the metal on the Bulldog is painted, not powder coated. I am not a fan of powder coating, so this is a plus for me.

Skid plate is on & it was easy, only 4 U-bolts. I could have made one, but I think $121 for a large 3/16th steel skid plate is fair. I do think they should be standard equipment & not an option. Witht eh plate on my ground clearance under the plate is 6.5":

I worked on the Cv Boot protectors. I had a sheet of 1/16th, so after making a cardboard pattern, I cut out the shape with a grinder w/cutoff wheel:

Then used a section of angle iron in the vice to make the bend:

I did some test fitting, but I need to go get some 1" U-bolts for attachment. There is also a boot in the center behind the front gear box that is a bit exposed, so I am going to make a small skid plate for it since i have some left over steel.
